TOPIC: Aimon in PC mode on Console

This is for users who want to play counterstrike games that the console allows keyboard and mouse.

We have done the firmware of PS Elite for PS3 PC mode.



With this firmware, when plugged into the console, it would be in controller mode as
normal, when a player wants to change it to be “keyboard/mouse”Mode, press the dongle button for 2 seconds, then the dongle LED will flash once to
confirm it is in Keyboard/mouse mode.

Note that postfix may change by IE browser, so rename it back to “.PSE” by hand,
just in case.

Thanks Skrilla, I'll try this when I'm next on Dust514. I know its cheeky but what would be the chances of a combined firmware with this and the select\PS swap you did for BF3. That is unless the swap firmware already contains this feature, if so ignore me

The problem with KB/mouse mode on CS: GO is that there's no START button so you can't change the settings during gameplay.
Is there any way to make it send a START key signal?

I'm getting a 404 on the link.

I think its in the standard 1.8 from the setup software. This link was before it was finalised...

Nevermind, its not working. It just flashes weirdly.

Try holding it longer than 2 seconds. 4 usually does it for me. But you HAVE to be on 1.8

We have released the Aimon PS elite firmware V1.9 which includes the "PC game pad mode".

Plug in the dongle into PC without pressing dongle button this will enter the PC mouse mode. Then press the dongle button for 2 seconds enter the "PC game pad" mode,
to go back to Mouse mode, press the dongle button for 2 seconds again.
this is the same as the XB EliteV game pad mode on PC.

This Aimon PS Elite "PC game pad" mode will simulate the SONY PS3 SIXAXIS controller
on PC.
User should download the driver from internet which can allow his PS3 controller to
work with his PC with his PC games.
You should try your PS3 controller first to make sure it is working in the game, then
plug the Aimon PS Elite to enter the Game pad mode.

This 2 seconds button pressing mode exchange function also works on the console,
when plugged in to the PS3 console. Aimon will be in controller mode,
then press the dongle button for 2 seconds will enter the Console mouse mode so you
can use it as a mouse, this would not able to play game, it is for user
browsing internet or type in text other than the game window.

are there any other improvements introduced with the V1.9?
And will a "Swap-Select"-V1.9 be released like for the V1.8?

1.9 just added that one feature to install so it can be used as a gamepad on pc.

I cant make this work. 1.8 firmware is installed. when I switch to pc mode, only the lever works, the buttons dont do anything. I think I have to download something into pc setup, instead of just hitting default like I did. I bought the mouse to play Dust 514, if anyone can tell me how to configure pc mode for dust, thanks a lot.

Hi it's my thread you linked to the only thing to download really (assuming you have the Aimon config software working OK) is the button mapping as a start for setting up your preferred layout. In that case just download my zip file and extract it. Then load up the config software and go to the PC tab, then load from and select the file you extracted. Then just click save and the settings will be saved to your Aimon. Then put back in PS3 and power on, then hold the button on the dongle for a couple of seconds and let go (if it starts flashing you didn't hold it long enough and you will have to wait for it to stop and try again). If its in PC mode moving the mouse left and right will move the XMB fast on the PS3 menu. I suggest that you also have a control pad powered up and handy while playing to control the PS3 and dust menus and spawn locations.

P.S. for the best speed use the 3rd DPI setting in PC mode (Make sure you are in the mode before doing this). Hold the F button and roll the wheel forward one click at a time until the dongle flashes 3 times.
