Hello folks, just wanted to know if there is anyway of getting a replacement dongle, mine has not worked properly since it was purchased in september.Every time i want to use it i have to update the firmware,it does not sync with the controller,i have to plug it in about 50 times to get it to work

, i have verson 1 hardware.The light just stays on all the time, it's really annoying.
The place i bought it from dont want to know, they told me to get in touch with the manafactures, so here i am.
any help would be welcomed.

Ok sorry, should have explained...

Im running xp, getting the firmware on the dongle is not the prob, the trouble im having is getting my wired xbox controller to work with the dongle, i literally have to plug and unplug the dongle in to my xbox at least 15 times before the wired controller will recognise it.
Sometimes it just dont work no matter how many times i plug it in, and when this happens the only way to get it to work is to plug back in to the pc and update firmware again,it's really starting to p me off. It's a shame because when it works it does it's job well.

I bought my Scorch when it first came out last year, and I had the same symptoms as you did. Turns out for me it was a faulty dongle that needed to be replaced. My replacement worked fine every time after.

I hate to say it, but with Bannco now closed, I think you are out of luck. I would not recommend buying a replacement on eBay or anything, since I think they had issues with the hardware when they started selling them - you could end up gettting an early version that has the same problem.

I tried to get them to tell me the root cause of the problem, but they preferred just to replace my defective dongle.

I would recommend going to the Aimon XB at this point - perhaps you can find someone to buy the mouse part of your scorch to offset the cost of buying a new Aimon XB?
