We tested the firmware V2.2, this pad mode works fine at our end.
So if you are using Win7, after pressing the button for 2 sec, check
the device manager main window to see if there is "Microsoft Common Controller For
Windows Class" showing up, under this
Item, click on it this will show the "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows" there.
If your system is Win XP, you need to install the Xbox controller driver first to
get the PC to work with it. The driver should be found from internet or Microsoft
website.
Then after you can see the dongle is in the device manager, depending on what game you are playing, you may need to go to the game "setup" to configure the controller as game control.
Because the mode switching is done by button pressing, so when you keep the device
manager opened, you can see the "Microsoft Common Controller" item on and off
while you switch the mode.
